Stefano Narducci: From One Snowblower to a Northern Snow Empire

Every successful business has an origin story, but few are as relatable as Stefano Narducci's. Before there were dozens of tractors, thousands of customers, millions of video views, and one of Canada's most recognized snow removal brands, there was simply a teenager with a snowblower, a willingness to work, and an obsession with building something bigger.

Today, Stefano is the co-owner of Northern Snow, one of Canada's fastest-growing residential snow removal companies, serving more than 5,100 homes while operating a fleet of over 60 machines. Alongside the business, he has become one of the internet's most recognizable blue-collar creators, documenting the reality of running a snow removal company for hundreds of thousands of followers across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.

Humble Beginnings

Stefano's entrepreneurial journey began in 2019, at just 19 years old. Armed with little more than equipment borrowed from his father's shed, he launched a small lawn care business called Northern Landscaping. He designed the logo himself, advertised on Facebook, and started mowing lawns around Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.

As summer ended, so did the landscaping season.

Instead of waiting for spring to return, Stefano asked himself a simple question:

"What do landscapers do in the winter?"

The answer was snow removal.

He grabbed a snowblower and began clearing residential driveways. Like countless small contractors across Canada, he was simply trying to earn a living through the winter. What separated Stefano wasn't the equipment—it was his mindset. While others saw snow removal as a seasonal service, he saw an opportunity to build a recognizable brand.

Building Northern Snow

As demand increased, Stefano partnered with Nick Chiarot, and together they transformed a small snow removal operation into Northern Snow.

At the time, residential snow removal was dominated by pickup trucks and plows. Stefano and Nick believed tractors equipped with snow blowers could clear driveways more efficiently while leaving cleaner results.

That decision would become one of the company's defining advantages.

What started with a single tractor steadily evolved into a growing fleet. Every season brought more customers, more operators, and more equipment. Today, Northern Snow operates more than 60 tractors and machines, servicing thousands of properties every winter throughout Sault Ste. Marie.

Turning Snow Removal into Entertainment

While growing the company, Stefano noticed something few people in the industry understood:

People love watching machines work.

Instead of traditional advertising, he began filming everyday operations—predawn starts, massive lake-effect snowstorms, equipment breakdowns, difficult driveways, customer stories, and the relentless pace of winter operations.

The videos felt authentic because they were.

There were no actors or staged moments—just real work.

That authenticity resonated online.

His social media channels exploded in popularity, accumulating more than 200,000 YouTube subscribers, over 200,000 Instagram followers, and more than 200 million video views, turning a local snow removal company into an internationally recognized brand.

Innovation Beyond Equipment

Stefano has often described himself with one word:

Innovator.

Rather than accepting how the industry had always operated, Northern Snow invested heavily in technology, customer communication, GPS tracking, automation, and operational software.

After one particularly difficult season that pushed the business close to bankruptcy due to record snowfall and unexpected operating costs, Stefano completely rebuilt the company's systems from the ground up. The focus shifted toward operational efficiency, customer experience, and scalable technology.

Those lessons eventually led to another company:

Aurora Suite Enterprise, software originally developed to improve Northern Snow's operations before expanding to help more than 150 other businesses.

More Than Snow

As Northern Snow continued to grow, Stefano expanded beyond snow removal.

He launched Tractor Boys, a workwear and merchandise brand inspired by the hardworking people behind heavy equipment and blue-collar industries. What started as an online nickname evolved into a lifestyle brand representing discipline, resilience, and showing up every day regardless of the weather.

His influence also attracted major industry attention, leading to his role as Kubota Canada's only Canadian Brand Ambassador.

A Business Built on Consistency

Anyone can clear one driveway.

Building a company capable of clearing thousands before people leave for work requires something entirely different.

Northern Snow now operates with dispatch systems, mechanics, operators, customer support teams, GPS tracking, and an ever-growing fleet designed to keep pace with Northern Ontario's unpredictable winters. What once depended on one person with a snowblower now relies on an entire organization working through the night whenever a storm arrives.

The Legacy So Far

Stefano Narducci's story isn't simply about snow removal.

It's about recognizing opportunity where others see routine.

He transformed an ordinary seasonal service into a recognizable brand, documented the journey for millions to watch, embraced technology in a traditionally old-school industry, and proved that blue-collar businesses can build audiences just as passionate as any creator online.

From one teenager pushing a snowblower down neighborhood driveways to leading one of Canada's most recognizable snow removal companies, Stefano's journey demonstrates that extraordinary businesses often begin with ordinary work—done exceptionally well, day after day, storm after storm.
